I haven't tried specifically going through significant clouds strucures (since I had FSGRW for just a few days) and I didn't have that type of weather conditions in the areas where I was flying I imagine since the winds are layered based on altitude, you would have more turbulence while passing through a cloud layer as long as this has been recorded in the wind observations.Į.g. The sources seem good since it has plenty of weather stations even in isolated areas such as the Australian outback. It also creates multiple and varied cloud layers unlike more simplistic engines such as NOAA or default. In the last few days there were various wind conditions in my area and they were depicted quite well in the sim, FSGRW creates many wind layers based on altitude. It is obviously miles better than NOAA (which on XP 11.11 is now completely broken). I have the latest version which is now compatible with XP11 and P3Dv4.
